Cherry Lane kindergarten students in Mrs. Rosemary Hunter’s class used their imaginations and problem-solving skills to create an indoor ice-skating rink during their exploration of winter activities.

They used their engineering skills to build the equipment needed and included a Zamboni, skates in different sizes, a snack bar and shoe locker. Throughout this process, the kindergartners applied their knowledge on measuring, counting, reading and writing while pretending to be ice skating.
