Cherry Lane School first grade students transformed into scientists while participating in a “Sound Vibrations” workshop presented by the Science Museum of Long Island.

The fun and educational experience gave students the opportunity to explore the concept of sound using their senses. They saw sound waves on an oscilloscope and heard and felt vibrations using a tuning fork. Each class participated in their own workshop and made a kazoo.
