The high school senior class and Tri-M Music Honor Society hosted a talent show on April 4 featuring a variety of acts ranging from Irish step dancing to band performances by ninth- through 12th-graders. Senior Greg Barbosa displayed his musical talent by accompanying seven different acts on the piano, while students Lucas Golon and Domenico Iannucci wowed the crowd with their original rap “Poetic Justice.”

“Music has been my life since the sixth grade,” said senior Thomas Scardino. “To be able to play at these shows with the people who are closest to me makes them more fun than any other gigs I play.”

The evening concluded with a farewell in which a group of seniors performed hit songs from the 1990s through the present.

“It's always so much fun to be in the talent show,” said senior Marcy Mendonca. “I love being able to do what I enjoy with my friends while being supported by such a warm audience. It's definitely an experience I'll never forget after leaving high school.”
