Angling for Good Math

Fourth-graders in Mrs. Lannig’s class at Rushmore studied acute, obtuse and right angles. In order to bring math to life, students used popsicle sticks to play a game where they dropped a bundle of sticks and then collected data on the number of different angles they could find. Students also searched their classroom environment to identify any angles they could locate around them
