Drawing for a Cause

Drawing and Painting teacher Jenique Nijboer had fifteen art students who were selected to participate in a service learning project for children living in the Dominican Republic. The Memory Project is a unique initiative in which selected talented art students work from photographs to create individual portraits (drawings, paintings, digital art, etc.) for children and teens from around the world who have been orphaned, neglected, or disadvantaged in some way. The portraits along with photos of the CP artists were mailed to the Dominican children in May.
