Olympics Benefit ALS

More than 70 middle school students participated in the Carle Place Middle School Olympics. This biennial event is designed to incorporate a fundraising opportunity with an Olympic style competition. This year, eight teams of students competed in events such as tug-of-war, water balloon toss, Wii bowling and Pictionary. The entire evening was organized by the middle school advisors, Mr. Bello and Ms. Cavallaro. Members of the Key Club and their advisor, Ms. Buffalino, officiated the events and provided photos. The money raised at this year’s Olympics will be going to the ALS foundation. The money will be presented to the organization at the annual Ride-for- Life.
