Alumnus Honored by County

CPHS Class of 1960 football star Matt Snell was inducted into the 2016 Nassau County Athletics Hall of Fame at Crest Hollow Country Club. Snell was captain of the football team at CPHS, played collegiately at Ohio State University, and in 1964 was drafted by both the NFL and AFL. In the AFL, he helped lead the 1969 Jets to a 16-7 victory over the Baltimore Colts in Superbowl III.

The district extends its congratulations to Snell on a phenomenal career, and is proud of all of his accomplishments.
