Fun, Festivities and Frog football

The community came together for an evening filled with school pride and football fun at homecoming on Oct. 7. Students, families and district staff members filled the bleachers to watch the Frogs score the win against the Cold Spring Harbor Seahawks and various other festivities throughout the program.

At halftime, Class of 2005 alumnus and Paralympian Steve Serio, who participated in Rio this past summer, was honored for all of his accomplishments by district Athletic Director Chris Ceruti. Additionally, students Vincent Basso and Lauren Nagy were crowned homecoming king and queen. The cheerleading team showcased its precision in a spirited dance performance, and representatives from each grade level at the middle school and high school displayed their artistic talents through themed performances and colorful class banners.

The district’s 2016 homecoming brought the community together in a most festive and school-spirited way.
