Back to Breezy

Twenty-seven members of the SPARC/Interact Club, including both students and teachers, returned for the fourth time to Breezy Point, Queens, a hurricane-ravaged community. The purpose of the trip was to assist the Habitat for Humanity crew — who have been on the scene seven days a week — with restoring the community. Although the weather conditions were less than ideal, the dedicated students and teachers did not let it stop them from carrying out the tasks at hand, including moving and storing furniture, clearing construction debris, unloading lumber deliveries and planting flowers at Christ Community Church in Roxbury.
