Carlo’s Bakery Trip

High school teacher Erika Fallik’s Baking and Pastries and Global Foods classes, with the middle school’s Culinary Advisory groups, visited Carlo’s Bakery and learned about the baking and preparation completed in the factory prior to getting sent to the bakeries. Along with a tour of the factory, students had the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities including filling cannolis and lobster tails, and icing cupcakes. They also visited Carlo’s Bakery storefront in Hoboken and had the option to purchase baked goods.
