Students in Matthew Woythaler’s AP English Literature and Composition class at Carle Place Middle/High School recently attended a performance at Lincoln Center entitled “The Adventures of Alvin Sputnik: Deep Sea Explorer.”  This award-winning, one-person show was named Outstanding Solo Show at the 2009 NYC Fringe and uses live performance, puppetry, animation, and music to weave a touching tale of enduring love at the end of the world.  The performance was followed with a lunch at Old John’s Luncheonette.
