Adding Inspiration in Spanish

Adding Inspiration in Spanish thumbnail133611
Congratulations to Carle Place High School language teachers Jose Espinal, Jillian Kelly and Rosa Perifimos, who participated in a program through the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization in Salamanca, Spain for two weeks this summer. Salamanca is home to almost half of the Spanish UNESCO sites in the world. It is known as the cradle of the Spanish language and is home to the third oldest university in Europe — Salamanca University. During their visit, the teachers were fully immersed in Spanish living by speaking the language full time, absorbing the relaxed pace and learning from the locals. The trio returned to Carle Place with much to share on their experience and an heightened ability to enlighten and inspire their students.
