Carle Place is a hamlet, nestled between Westbury and Mineola, Old
Westbury and Garden City, in Nassau County, New York.
Carle Place is governed by the Town of North Hempstead and receives its
services from the Nassau County. The residents pay County, Town and
School taxes, the taxes being based on the assessed valuation of real
estate of the area.
The entire educational system of Carle Place is laid out on one campus
area of approximately 1 square mile consisting of Cherry Lane School,
Rushmore Avenue School and the Carle Place Middle School/High School.
