On Friday, Feb. 8, the Carle Place Middle/High School Culture Vultures Club received their 15 minutes of fame at the exclusive Andy Warhol exhibit held at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City.

“Andy Warhol: From A to B and Back Again” is the largest exhibit to come to the Whitney Museum since opening its new building in 2015, and spotlights the artist’s intense experimentation and the breadth, depth and interconnectedness of his work. This year the Culture Vultures visited Bryant Park, Chelsea Market and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, among other popular New York City locations.

The Culture Vultures will next land on Broadway to see the new, smash hit “Be More Chill,” a production about a high school outcast who transforms into the coolest kid in class with help from a supercomputer. Students are invited to come out and get cultured! Just contact Ms. Gisondi, the club’s adviser.
