Principal's Message
Welcome to Carle Place Middle/High School! As the smallest public high school in Nassau County, we take great pride in our close-knit community, where each of our approximately 100 students per grade is known and valued. Our small size allows us to create a supportive and personalized learning environment, fostering strong relationships among students, teachers, and staff. We are thrilled to welcome you to the Carle Place family.
At Carle Place, we believe in the power of community and the importance of every student's unique contribution. Our mascot, the frog, symbolizes the agility, adaptability, and resilience we strive to instill in our students. We derive the name of our mascot from the original name of our town, Frog Hollow. As history states, the largest property owner in the area was named Silas Carle. His home, still stands today on the corner of Carle Road and Jericho Turnpike. After the name of the hamlet was changed, the school district adopted the Frog as our mascot in homage to the original name.
Whether you are joining us for the first time or returning for another exciting year, you will find countless opportunities to engage, grow, and excel both inside and outside the classroom. From rigorous academic programs to numerous extracurricular activities, we are committed to providing a well-rounded education that prepares our students for future success.
We look forward to a year filled with learning, growth, and memorable experiences. Our dedicated faculty and staff are here to support and guide you every step of the way. Together, let's embrace the challenges and celebrate the achievements that lie ahead.
Welcome to Carle Place Middle/High School, where every student matters, and every moment counts.
