On April 25, students from Carle Place’s Cherry Lane School celebrated the arrival of spring at the school’s annual Spring Festival. The gymnasium was transformed with colorful, spring-themed decorations, including vibrant posters of flowers, butterflies and outdoor scenes.
The event, sponsored by the Cherry Lane PTA, featured a variety of fun and engaging activity stations. Students used various safe-snack ingredients to create spring-themed cupcakes, planted seeds to start their own gardens, dug through soil to discover hidden treasures, and interacted with butterflies — bringing the spirit of spring to life.
The students left the festival full of excitement and joy, ready to welcome the spring season.
