On April 28, the Carle Place High School Life Skills classes participated in the inaugural Wheatley Games, which was an exciting event that brought together students from The Wheatley School, Carle Place, Jericho and Roslyn.
Throughout the day, Carle Place students displayed incredible enthusiasm, compassion and teamwork as they paired up with peers to participate in a wide array of field games including relay races, obstacle courses, a farthest-throw competition, bowling and a cookie decorating station.
Carle Place athletes showed up with grit, formed new friendships and filled the field with smiles, laughter and school spirit. Congratulations to all our students on a fantastic performance and for making the first Wheatley Games a remarkable experience for all involved.
