Italian 1A and Italian 2 students had the unique opportunity to attend an in-school assembly featuring a guest speaker from Farmingdale State College. In her presentation, “A Taste of Italy,” Dr. Chiara DeSantis showed students how Italy’s rich history has shaped its culinary traditions. In addition to deepening students’ knowledge of Italian history, Dr. DeSantis also sparked a greater appreciation for the diverse flavors that make Italian cuisine so beloved.
