Students from the Carle Place High School Key Club, Student Organization, class officers and life skills classes participated in Choose to Include Day, kicking off this week’s Battle of the Classes: Battling for a Cause. The event, held in collaboration with Special Olympics, celebrated the power of inclusion and the importance of belonging. It followed the students’ involvement in a Special Olympics leadership conference last fall, where they learned about the value of acceptance and its role in building a more supportive school community.
