On June 11, Carle Place Middle/High School English as a New Language students took a field trip to the Nassau County Museum of Art for the "Art Deco at 100" tour. During the visit, students explored the outdoor sculpture garden, received a guided tour of the "Art Deco at 100" exhibit—which tied into their reading of “The Great Gatsby”—and learned about art and culture through nature.
