On May 28, Carle Place High School hosted its annual Senior Scholarship Awards dinner and ceremony to honor the accomplishments, achievements and recognitions earned by members of the graduating Class of 2026 throughout their time at Carle Place.
The evening began with remarks from Principal Allen Foraker, who thanked the parents, teachers and staff whose support, dedication and guidance helped shape the students’ high school experiences. He also congratulated the seniors on their hard work and perseverance as they prepare for the next chapter of their journeys.
“Stay humble, stay grateful and always choose kindness,” said Mr. Foraker. “Your futures are full of opportunity, and this is only the beginning.”
Members of the Carle Place community and organizations beyond the district attended the ceremony to personally present awards and celebrate the achievements of the graduating seniors. Throughout the evening, 61 scholarships and awards recognizing excellence in academics, athletics, music, leadership and community involvement, as well as personal growth and perseverance, were awarded. Honors included the Carle Place Pride: Compassion–Passion Scholarship, Teachers Association awards, PTSA scholarships, Educational Foundation awards and numerous memorial scholarships.
The district would like to thank CPHS scholarship coordinators Marissa D’Agostino and Maureen Ackerina for their support and efforts in helping make the evening a success.
