On Oct. 29, the Carle Place High School Key Club hosted its third annual Dancing with the Frogs, featuring this year’s theme, “Let’s Go to the Movies!”

Teachers took the stage to compete for the coveted Lily Pad Trophy, bringing popular films to life through their performances. Mr. Jobson and Ms. DeMaio performed “Toy Story 5,” Ms. Ostroff and Dr. Leffler performed “Moana,” Ms. Valerio and Ms. Castillo performed “Spider-Man,” and Ms. Santos and Mr. Colosa performed “Paw Patrol.”

The evening also showcased talented student performers from Cherry Lane School, Rushmore Avenue School, Carle Place Middle School and Carle Place High School.

Thanks to the generosity of the Carle Place community, including local families and businesses, the event raised $2,000 for the Carle Place Civic Association’s 9/11 Memorial. The Key Club would like to thank everyone who donated raffle baskets, participated, performed and helped make the evening a success.
