On May 20, Carle Place Middle/High School celebrated the induction of students into eight honor societies during a special evening ceremony recognizing excellence in academics, leadership, character, service and extracurricular achievement.
Students were inducted into the National Junior Honor Society, English Honor Society, Math Honor Society, Science Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Italian Honor Society, Tri-M Music Honor Society and Business Honor Society. Together, the organizations honor students for their dedication and accomplishments in scholarship, language, music, business and other areas of achievement.
“The evening was a wonderful celebration of so many deserving students and their families, and we are incredibly proud of all of our inductees and the example they set for our school community,” said Allen Foraker, principal of Carle Place Middle/High School. “Thank you to all our advisers, student officers, faculty and staff members who helped make the evening such a success.”
